Abu Dhabi has unveiled the Dh40 billion Fahid Island project, a groundbreaking coastal wellness destination developed by Aldar Properties. Spanning 2.7 million square meters between Yas and Saadiyat Islands, the island will feature over 6,000 luxury residences—including apartments, townhouses, and ultra-luxury villas—with every home situated within a five-minute walk to the beach. The first phase, Fahid Beach Residences, comprises seven mid-rise buildings, each housing 65 apartments, and is scheduled for completion by 2029.
Designed as the world’s first Fitwel-certified island, Fahid Island emphasizes wellness and sustainability, dedicating 30% of its masterplan to natural spaces. Residents will enjoy 4.6 km of pristine beaches, a 10 km fitness corridor with running tracks and cycling routes, and curated leisure and wellness experiences. The development also includes a top-tier international school, aligning with Abu Dhabi’s vision to become a regional hub for educational excellence .
