Dubai Chamber of Commerce has reported a robust start to 2025, highlighting significant growth across various sectors. In the first quarter, member exports and re-exports surged by 16.8% year-on-year, reaching AED 86 billion. Additionally, the chamber issued over 204,000 Certificates of Origin, marking a 7% increase from the previous year. The ATA Carnet system also saw nearly AED 984 million worth of goods processed, underscoring Dubai’s expanding role in global trade .
Membership growth continues to be a strong indicator of Dubai’s appeal to international businesses. During Q1 2025, 18,160 new companies joined the chamber, while 28 local firms received support to expand into international markets—a 75% increase compared to the same period last year. The chamber also enhanced its advocacy efforts, reviewing 10 laws and draft laws with business groups, with over half of their recommendations adopted .
